Udo Jürgens was an institution in West Germany. He was always there, as long as I could think back. And he stayed in business throughout all times. He had just released a new album and had just been on tour recently. He turned 80 in September, but he called his latest album In the middle of life (Mitten im Leben). Today he dropped dead while on a walk nearby his home. Heart failure. Here the last moments of his last concert he played only 2 weeks ago. I am still in disbelief, though.
