Source: eNCA JOHANNESBURG - Reports from Uganda say that a charge of torture against an abusive nanny has been amended to attempted murder. A security camera planted in the house shows the woman, allegedly slapping, kicking and hitting the baby and thereafter stomping on the two-year olds spine. Many Ugandans who have watched the video say they have been traumatised. The woman was charged with torture at the Nakawa magistrates court where she was remanded to the Luzira Prison until December 8, when she will reappear before the same court on the amended charge of attempted murder. - eNCA
