Ugandans Shine At TPF6 Ugandans Sunday got a reason to smile after none of their contestant was put on probation in the Tusker Project Fame 6. Ugandas contestants in Tusker Project Fame This followed a live performance from all the remaining contestants in the academy. Rwanda’s Patrick opened the show performing African in New York by Napoleon Da Legend. He gave it his best despite being the first performer on stage. He was followed by Angel from Tanzania, doing ‘Don’t you remember’ rendition by Adele. Bior from South Sudan sang Mysterious girl by Peter Andre. The Sudan representative thrilled the audience with beaming confidence despite having been on probation the previous week. He indeed got the crowd over him that even critical judge, Ian complimented him for arousing the crowd with entertainment. Sitenda from Uganda took to the stage, singing Don’t know why by Norah Jones. Sitenda’s Heavy and strong vocals were so impressive that they got the audience swaying along to them. Kojjo Kenya’s Jennifer, who had been on probation the past week performed mwewe rendition. She got the crowd rocking with her but she was betrayed by her voice which was lacking. Nyambura, unlike her counterpart, Jennifer, she put up a spectacular performance of the classic someday. She lived up to her billing as ‘the voice to beat’ in this season of Tusker Project Fame as she proved herself a mature songstress. Kojjo from Uganda was next performing Don’t make me cry by UB40. Mishel enjoyed herself on stage and danced her heart out. Her potential was noted but Judge Hermes noted that she played safe and could have done much more with the song. Hisia performed Here I stand by Usher Raymond. He played to his strength and showed he got what it takes to bag the money to Tanzania. It was a relaxed performance that Judges thought was good performance from him. Amos and Josh performed last and were indeed the best performers of the night, singing Nameless’ deadly. The upbeat song had the crowd clapping along with the duo from Kenya. They were the first standing ovation on Tusker Project Fame 6. Judges and everyone in the house believes it was the hottest performance of the day. The show ended with the four contestants on probation, Jennifer was returned to probation for the second consecutive time. The other contestants that were put on probation were Fess from Kenya, Angel from Tanzania and Phionah from Rwanda urging East Africa to vote for them. Uganda is currently remaining with three contestants in the Academy; Kojjo, Sitenda and Daisy.
