Ugh :( Posted a couple days ago and got a suggestion but am still having issues with my WK... Ive rinsed and rested the grains twice and Im still getting nothing but syrup! Beyond frustrated and just about ready to give up :( It was suggested that my sugar/water/grain ratio was off so I added an extra cup of water and still got goo after the 48hr 1f. Was originally using 4 cups of water (Evian spring) per 3 tbs of grains and 1/4 cup organic refined sugar. This last ferment I used 5 cups of water instead and still got slime. What the heck is going on?? Ive talked to Cultures for Health several times and we just cant seem to figure it out...
