Ugh. This too shall pass... This too shall pass... The marble tile I got for the bathroom floor was completely worthless, it just cracked and broke when we tried to place it before setting it... multiple pieces literally fell apart in my hands, and more than half of all we had broke. So we took it back to the store and spent forever trying to find enough tile to replace that tile and Im disappointed that we ended up with only a handful. On a whim I grabbed a box of some porcelain tile and brought it back home to see if it will work... It fits and looks nice but I really wanted a gray marble floor. What a huge bummer! Dad took time out of his day just to tile the floor and I cant make up my mind about what to do, so I feel like I completely wasted his time. Then when I went to sit down to think about my options I split my pants right down the middle, now theyre ruined... Ive had them for years so Im sure they should be thrown away but they have been through so many projects/memories. I even call them my get shit done pants because I put them on and I immediately feel motivated to clean or whatever I need to do and not have to worry about getting them messy. I can easily replace them but its just one more problem I have to deal with now. AND dad was looking at why our front porch light doesnt work, apparently its because its attached to the same lights that are in the living room so he has to figure out how to rewire that to make both lights work at different times. Sigh On the upside I got to spend a wonderful lunch with my mom and sister Kim. At least part of my day was good.
