Ugh. What is wrong with people.i hope its common knowledge that waiters/servers LIVE off tips. And no i cant speak for all servers but i myself, make 2.13 an hr. MY paycheck every friday is about 4 dollars (if im lucky). I work my ass off running table to table trying to please every person i come across, making sure everyone of my customers has a wonderful dining experience. Earning tips isnt easy and i appreciate every cent i do earn. But when people with 70 dollar bills and received great service..and then dont tip. Its crushing. This article infuriated me. I WISH i made 200 dollars an hour. And in truth an average night i make 60 dollars. For about 6 hours of work. Then SERVERS tip out to hosts and bartenders sometimes. So i still may not make that 60 bucks. To wrap this rant up...your kindness and generosity means alot to your servers... but your tip is our paycheck and our reminder of how much our hardwork means to YOU.
