Uh oh, Buddy’s out of his comfort element over in the Brooklyn shelter and he really doesn’t know how to help himself. Buddy’s family claimed “family changes” as a reason for surrendering him. He’s a young German Shepherd mix who is showing signs of what we call fear aggression. He’s so out-of-sorts by the unfamiliar noises, smells and sights, and he feels the need to protect himself. So this beauty is rated New Hope Only. We believe that Buddy excels in the characteristic loyal personality of shepherds. He’s much more interested in the people around him than in food or toys. We believe that Buddy could decompress into a gem of a dog if he had just a little time away from his imprisonment. Do you know someone who’s willing to give Buddy a chance?
