Uh-oh..I just found the reason why this version is horrible; and I quote: "On May 16, 2012, Andrew Lloyd Webber launched an ITV primetime show called Superstar; it gave the UK public the chance to decide who would play the starring role of Jesus in an upcoming arena tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. Finalist Ben Forster was chosen as Jesus for the tour. The arena tour started on 21 September 2012, and also starred comedian Tim Minchin as Judas Iscariot, former Spice Girl Melanie C as Mary Magdalene and BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles as King Herod. Tickets for most venues went on sale on 18 May 2012. The tour will resume in March 2013 and will tour in the UK, Australia, and the USA."
