SCRIPT Eugeny, a man who lost his leg fighting for the militia of the self-proclaimed Donetsk Peoples Republic (DPR), said in an interview in Donetsk Saturday that he plans to return to fight alongside his compatriots once he gets a replacement artificial limb. Remembering the day, Eugeny said that he was near the mines close to Lidievka settlement on August 8 when he was hit by shells from a Kiev Grad missile launcher. He said there were women and children who were hit next to him. Once he gets his artificial limb, Eugeny said, he plans to return to the front line. He added that he believes that the DPR will win the war and gain independence from Ukraine.
