Ukraine crisis, Gaza Strip shelling, flight MH17, bankruptcy of Argentina – all of these have headlined newscast last weeks, with plethora of other bad news in preceding months. Why are all of these depressing items making it to the front pages and prime time news on TV? And other equally important, but much more positive information, is relegated to some obscure timings and pages? Is it that we are drawn to the misery by the structure of our thought process?
