Um...no way...I would no never live here if this is what happens!!! No one has the right to come into anyones backyard and shoot their dog...first off i think you need a warrant to enter someone elses property (I could be wrong but not sure) and 2nd the dog is protecting its home not trying to hurt you...they entered his territory so therefore its telling you to leave. And by the sound of this story the dog didnt hurt anyone...just walked up to you...it may have been growling or acting aggressive as they put it but that DOES NOT mean shoot the dog...this is horrible and I would never allow this. Whoever shot the dog should be arrested.
