Umar Abdu Tsauri Following the successful hosting of our joint program with JIBWIS in Daura in which, by Allahs grace, 2250 widows from Daura zone were empowered, the government of Katsina state has mounted a serious campaign of columny against me and my people. This is with the view to discrediting what we did in the eyes of the ordinary widows that benefitted from this assistance. If you will remember, prior to the program I had informed you of the planned disruption of this program by Malam Yau Gwajo Gwajo, the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly and other officials of government from the zone. Gawjo Gwajo is the most senior agent of government from the zone. We called their bluff and went ahead with it. Now the baton has been passed from him to his wife Hajia Ruqayya Yau Gwajo Gwajo. Yesterday Friday, 29th November, 2013, Hajia Ruqayya in company of the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs, wife of the Honourable Commissioner for Rural Development, Chairperson of Zango Local Government, DAF Zango local government, wife of the Vice Chairman, Zango local government, wife of the House member representing Zango local government in KTHA, wife of the Permanent Commissioner, Local Government Service Commission, SA Women Affairs etc had a public meeting with some of the women we assisted from Zango local government. At the meeting, Hajia Ruqayya was so careless in telling the whole world that I am a mafia Agent sent by America to destabilize Islam. Not only that, I am equally an agent of Boko Haram trying to use this medium to bring Boko Haram into Katsina state. She concluded her address by telling the gathering that the sole purpose of the program was to enable us kidnap people for ritual and currently we have kidnapped two people that have up till this moment not been located! At the end of the program, she gave each woman N500 and promised them that the wife of the Governor will soon pay them a visit. This information was so weighty that the head of the State Security Service in Zango local government invited my representative in the local government for interrogation! I am sure, you will all agree with me that hefty accusations of this nature coming from a wife of a senior agent of government should not be taken lightly. What is baffling to me is, if Gwajo Gwajo and his wife had this kind of information about me and they kept it, then I doubt if he is worth being the Speaker of an elite state like Katsina unless you all rate us as dunces! No way I will leave this accusation to just die away. I have instructed my lawyers to immediately commence legal proceedings against Hajia Ruqayya Yau Gwajp Gwajo for slander, defamation of character, false accusation and other anciliary matters. We will seek justice from the Court and I am sure she has proof to prove what she accused me of. In the meantime I challenge the police and the SSS to quickly commence investigation into this matter considering the instability the nation is currently passing through as a result of the Boko Haram menace. They should equally, without further delay, establish the identity of the 2 people that got missing at the event and possibly find out how. Inviting my representative by the SSS was simply evasive the burden of proof is on Ruqayya and I pray they will do their job!
