Unadilla Results HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (Aug 10, 2014) – Round 10 of the 2014 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship Series was held at the Unadilla Sports Valley in New Berlin, N.Y. MAVTV aired the first moto live, and the second moto was broadcast live on NBC. Josh Grant was not cleared to race Unadilla, he was advised to take one more week off due to a concussion he suffered at Washougal during practice. Phillip Nicoletti, who was already scheduled to race Unadilla joined Justin Brayton for the event. Brayton took the holeshot in moto one with Nicoletti just behind him. The teammates led the field before Brayton settled into sixth with Nicoletti ninth in the early laps. After 30 minutes and two laps, Brayton took the checkers in sixth and Nicoletti was seventh. Brayton again put his Yamaha at the front in moto two with Nicoletti third leaving the first turn. As the early order played out Brayton was eighth and Nicoletti sixth. Brayton finished the moto in seventh, and Nicoletti was ninth. Brayton’s six – seven scores equated to fifth overall, and Nicoletti’s seven – nine finishes earned him eighth for the day. The penultimate round of the series will be held at a new facility in Crawfordsville, Ind. on Aug. 16. Phillip Nicoletti is not scheduled to race the last two events. MAVTV will broadcast the first moto live at 1:00 p.m. (EST), and promotocross will also stream moto one live. The second moto will stream live on promotocross and the NBC Sports Network will air the second moto at 5:00 p.m. (EST). ###
