Unbelievable ! Fellow Tasmanians... please - wake up to yourself, and stand up for yourself. This is fascist. The government works for US ! We all have a right to be heard, and to protest. Look at all the different political supporters who will join together to protest tomorrow morning in Burnie (and everywhere), to protest against this unfair budget. We have a RIGHT to protest loss of funding for aged care, war veterans, health and education while mining still makes millions enjoying government subsidies and tax loopholes. This budget is so fecken UN-AUSTRALIAN it makes my blood boil. We should not be arrested and jailed for 3 months with massive fines for peaceful protest. This is NOT about the minority of forestry protestors who might take it to the extreme and trespass. This is about YOUR right to be heard - and to protest about these unfair government measures. That includes our right to protest - as a member of the Union - or as a member of the Community. Be heard now, or they will forever have your speech. Tomorrow - 11.00pm, Burnie Hall.
