Uncle Red Crow....my mentor, compadre and friend...you are always with us in our hearts, minds, and spirits. No offense to those who follow the christian ways, but it is offensive to intelligent humans to deny the atrocities that have been done throughout the world for over 2000 years and are still being done in the name of god? More people, animals and environments have been obliterated in the name of christianity than ALL WARS IN THE LAST 2000 YEARS COMBINED. We cant undo what has been done, but we can atleast agree that it is way past time to evolve from old paradigms, and religion and poly-ticks have only proven to be destructive mechanisms disconnecting us from from our spiritual and intellectual collective consciousness, but most importantly, from our fellow humans and animals and plants. Regardless of our beliefs, we are here now to learn how to get along WITHOUT JUDGEMENT, CONDEMNATION, HOSTILITY, AND SUPERIORITY OVER OTHERS WHO DONT BELIEVE OR AGREE WITH US. There are infinite paths to enlightenment and this is the most important truth to keep in mind. we are only reflections of each other, and all we need is clean air, clean nonfloridated water, a fat, organic garden, a roof over our heads, and most importantly, community. It truly does take a village to raise a child. We are INTERdependent, not Independent. Independence is an american dream that one has to be asleep to beLIEve. we need each other....and dont forget the animals, plants, because we are entwined with them too. pray for the bees....mitakuye oyasin
