Under 18s Match report : Falcons returned to winning ways in style with a clinical second half performance away at Leyland Warriors arlfc. First half saw leyland show their strength up front and their prop crashed over early on to take the lead. Leyland although having more possession and going over 4 times they couldnt pull away. Falcons staying in touch with some great goal line Defence and grabbed two vital scores (half time 20-10 warriors). The Second half was a different story with leylands pack fading fast after the fast pace first 35mins took its toll. They lacked yards in attack and fell off tackles in defence falcons taking full advantage . The Falcons pack in reverse made yards with some massive drives. This released the backs on the front foot to do the damage out wide with a series of great trys that put the game beyond doubt. A great team performance with final score 44-24.
