Under the command of Zandrekh, the necrons attacked a Tau supply station located at a planet in the far end of the Ou post sector. The planet was once part of the Imperium of man, however thanks to the persuasion by the Tau diplomats, the planet is now fully compliant to the greater good. Deny the enemy of their supplies and it shall be worth twice of our own! Let us bring fourth great victory and feast on our enemies supplies! said Zahndrekh. The loyal Vanguard Obyron merely nodded at his master command and proceeded to follow him into a brutal battle ahead........... Game: Maelstorm of war=> Turn 1 {Tau} The necron invaders landed and deployed at the supply zone, however the Tau were well prepared and greeted them with a huge armoured force of their own. With great military precision, the cunning Tau (and dirty too!) seize the initiative from the necrons and started their first turn. The Tau started the game with secure objective 2 and 6, both of which were in their area, followed by overwhelming power. The Tau fired volleys after volleys at Zahndrekhs unit of immortal but only managed to kill 3, of which 2 came back again. They also succeed in reducing an ahnniliation barge to 1 hull point. Tau= 2VP {Necrons} The necrons generated no prisoners, secure obj 1 and kingslayer. The necrons ahnnihilation barge open fired their Tesla guns at the Tau Piranhas, destroying 2 models, with 1 remaining. The ghost ark pushed forth and tried to Gauss the Devilfish to death but to no avail as the devilfish dodged everything thrown at it. Necrons= 0VP
