Unequaled measures based on immediate crisis of need! He was sore - TopicsExpress

Unequaled measures based on immediate crisis of need! He was sore athirst, and called on the Lord, and said, thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst? Judges 15:18 Samson was ever so focused on his crisis of immediate need for his thirst to be quenched, that he viewed Gods Great deliverance in unequalled measures, that Gods great deliverance was lessened by his immediate biological need for his thirst to be quenched. Hence, he lost focus and perspective to Gods mighty Hand to deliver him from a greater threat of death than an immediate need of being thirsty,. The greater threat was deliverance from the Philistines, whom God granted victory over into Samsons hands. Short sighted focus on the immediate crisis of need can cause us to loose perspective in life and forget the greatest Deliverance that God has provided us in His Beloved Son; Deliverance from sin and death, redemption in Jesus Blood, the forgiveness of sins and peace and reconciliation with God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Here is the bottom line, since Jesus suffered the penalty of Gods wrath for the sins of His people, and conquered death in His Resurrection, how much more shall we, who believe on Him, have victory over our present immediate crisis of physical bodily needs in life! Can you hear Gods call to your soul? Loose, not perspective and have the proper view in mind to not be ever so shortsighted and foolish to think that the present need at the moment is greater than the greatest need in Life that God has provided in His Sons precious Blood: deliverance from Eternal perdition and the wrath of God and removal of our enmity and hatred we have toward God through the Blood of Jesus. If this precious truth and promise in Jesus Christ does not give your perspective in life over present crisis of need, then nothing will! And you will foolishly cry like Samson, Lord, shall I die of thirst? Did you deliver me from sin, death and the Devil only to die of thirst!
