Unequally Yoked II Corinthians 6: 14 Be ye not unequally yoked - TopicsExpress

Unequally Yoked II Corinthians 6: 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? Since we know that iron sharpens iron and friends should be about sharpening one another, then the question becomes: “What good can come from associating with people who will only bring you down?” The Bible teaches against unholy alliances. That being said, whether contemplating marriage, or single life, in personal or business relationships considers who you will team up with, who you will bind yourself to. Why is this important to God? Because, He desires that everyone become a person of integrity with uncompromised faith in Him. Since there can be no agreement with godly living between a believer and an unbeliever, He says to separate yourself from them. Why? So that He can show you His favor. Scripture Reference: II Corinthians 6:14-18; Proverbs 27:17: Amos 3:3 Prayer for today: LORD, I desire your favor. Open my eyes so that I may see what you see and separate, where necessary. In JESUS name, AMEN. Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept his grace and make it a sweatless day. Love Dianne
