Unfortunately Matt posted a DNF Saturday at 411 Motor Speedway. We suffered damage in our heat race after hard contact with the wall due to an ill handling race car. Our crew repaired a heavily damaged car. Our crew chief Brad Best and Matt really worked hard to make the car competitive. Our hard work payed off and for the feature we had fast car. We passed several cars early in the going when a crash in front of us took us out of the race. Pierce McCarter had an awesome run debuting a chassis that we had no experience with. The car was a real wild card given we had just finished perpetrations on Friday for the car and had no track time with it. Pierce worked with Brad Best to improve the car all night long. Pierce won his heat race and piloted the 71 to a respectable 7th place finish in the feature. Mack McCarter drove the 1 car in Thunder and Lightning and earned a 4th place finish from his starting spot near the back of the field. This car was also a complete unknown and we made positive adjustments all night to provide Mack with a competitive piece. Mack drove hard, passed several cars, and was still making gains as the checkered flag fell. Luckily we were able to repair the 17 car in time for Amber Henderson to pilot the 17 to a second place finish in the Powder Puff race! Megan Galyon earned a 4th place finish in Mack McCarters #51 late model! Unfortunately Tanya McCarter was involved in an accident in the #1 Thunder and Lightning ride that ended her night early. Congrats ladies, way to wheel those cars! Thanks to our crew for their hard work and our supporters for being the best there is. Congratulations to Tanya, Amber, and Megan for awesome runs and thank you to All Star Graphix for 3 beautiful race cars and all the hard work!
