Unfortunately, Republicans in the General Assembly are sponsoring a bill in both chambers that would limit the Republican Partys ability to determine its own method of nomination. I urge all Republicans to contact their legislators and strongly oppose these bills. HB194 and SB507. The General Assembly has no business mandating how our party nominates its candidates. Lets get back to focusing on how to stop Obamas medicaid expansion - a massive future federal government unfunded mandate - which will cause some very large state tax increases down the road.
