Unfortunately, This local reality based programs like The Voice, would rather choose physically goodlooking contestants who can sing than someone who can sing better but not goodlooking. The so called Complete Package. Look at Ferns, for example. Kaya di bumibenta si Bituin, Dessa, Banig. Unlike US, Macy Gray, Missy Elliot, Ericah Badu, Brandy, Monica and the likes are selling records because american chooses real talent regardless if they look good on TV so long as they can give good music.
