Unfortunately, the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors voted 4-1 in favor of supporting Tim Donnellys proposed repeal of Californias ban on hounding bear and bobcat. While passage of this bill remains unlikely, it would have been a lot more exciting to have more of our local representatives than our 3rd District Supervisor (thank you Mark Lovelace) choose science and humane compassion over the flawed reasoning of those who would torture wild animals repeatedly before shooting them. .
