Unfortunately, there are 2 churches in our midst, the church that abides in God, and the church that pretends to abide in God. Unfortunately, you cannot play the fence when it comes to God, you are either with him or against him Luke 11:23 “He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.” There’s one thing I noticed while studying Jesus ministry, everyone that wanted to be made whole was made whole; after they came into Jesus presence. It’s very hard for you to be in Jesus presence and something about you doesn’t change. Judge within yourselves, have you been more loving after Jesus came into your heart? Have you been bearing the fruits of forgiveness? Have you been bearing any fruits of righteousness? These are the fruits of the spirit that we all should bear after spending quality time with Jesus “love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance” After reading that, can you honestly say you are walking with God or away from God? After knowing how God changed my life, when you tell me you are Born Again; you cause me to place expectations on your behavior since you claim to be walking with God. I would have more respect for people, if they would be honest about their relationship with God or lack thereof. I lose respect for you when you claim being born again and I can’t see any type of evidence that you have been spending quality time with Jesus. Normally, when you are abiding in God, you speak the words of God. You want to bring others to Christ, you use every opportunity to sharpen your skills so you can be effective in your evangelism. Hopefully, this doesn’t offend anyone, it was meant to cause everyone to judge their own personal relationship to determine if they are walking with God or their walking with him but from a distance. Here’s an analogy I like to use “If you are following Jesus through a maze and he’s the only one who knows how to get out, wouldn’t you follow him as close as possible so you won’t lose him? Well that‘s basically how we should walk with God while on Earth, if you intend to get out of this maze of life into everlasting life, you must follow Jesus closely so you won’t get lost. Here’s how you can tell if you have been sent by God. John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. Here’s the test: Do you love speak about God? Do you have a love for his word? Do you attend Bible Study to Grow? Do you try to remain in his presence at all times? Do you make it a priority attend Church? Take this time to answer each of those questions, and if the answer is no to each of these questions, there’s still hope for you. If God gives you another day on earth you still have time to alter your future so you can achieve eternal life through him. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. John 6:45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
