Unfortunately, this morning I received news the my #UncleJoe passed away. He was my mothers oldest brother and I really didnt know him at all. Actually, I can only recall one or two times that Ive ever come face to face with him and even that was a long time ago. Even still, I do plan on attending the funeral services to show my respect because after all, family is of utmost importance to me. Hopefully Ill see other family members there that I havent seen in quite some time because of the disconnect for whatever odd reason. This is a very sad thing that the only time family can come together is at the expense of someone losing their life. We as a family have to do better than that if we want to make a positive difference in our future generations. I hope that this doesnt offend anyone but if it does...
