Unhygienic Mushrooms Banned in Nagaland Sale of “inorganic, non-branded and loose unsealed mushrooms” have been banned in Dimapur and other parts of Nagalim except “brand and sealed ones” stated a release issued by the secretary, Union Territory (UT) of NSCN-IM. UT secretary Khekuto Jakhalu, said that despite the ban made known on July 23 last, “unauthorized group” calling itself “unique self-help group” has been selling “Mushroom Horizons” in the market by pasting its round seal on the item. The secretary UT asserted that the above item sold was not hygienic and warned that he would not be held responsible if the same “banned” item was sold in the market.
