Uniflex has its sites set on expansion in the church arena. As an example, First United Methodist Church of Gas City, Indiana, will soon be receiving a modified version of the Uniflex Relay. This church, like so many others, is unable to find a full time organist for their services. Although they have a stunning 2/9 Moller, which is in pristine condition, it has often sat silent during many services due to the lack of an organist. With the installation of the modified Uniflex Relay, a local organist will be able to play and record all their favorite hymns. Then at each and every service the choir director will be able to easily select a specific hymn, cue the organ from her iPhone, and play the recorded hymn just as the organist recorded it. Certainly, this is not meant to take the place of the unique expertise provided by a trained organist. However, it will provide the opportunity for those churches, who still value the inspirational sounds of a genuine pipe organ but are unable to arrange for a full time organist, to continue to enjoy the organ on a regular basis.
