Union Public Schools is seeking to fill an upcoming vacancy on its Board of Education. Zone # 4 representative Scott McDaniel chose not to file for re-election following 15 years of service as a Board member. Residents of Union’s Zone #4 interested in the appointment should submit a letter of interest to the Board Secretary at the Union Education Service Center, 8506 East 61st Street, Tulsa OK 74133, by Friday, February 14, or e-mail to [email protected]. Besides living in Zone #4, applicants must have been registered to vote at an address located in Zone #4 for at least six months. Employees of the school district and relatives (within the second degree) of district employees or Board members are not eligible. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Union’s Board Zone #4 includes portions of the Darnaby, Grove, Jarman, and Jefferson elementary areas.
