Unit 102039 Crime, Deviance & Society is the replacement unit for 101559 Introduction Criminology and the incompatible unit for 101631 Power Deviance & Society. Unit 102039 Crime, Deviance & Society is offered for the major/sub major in Criminology and Criminal Justice or Sociology in the Bachelor of Social Science degree. The unit will only count once to either the Criminology & Criminal Justice major/sub major or a Sociology major/sub major. If you have already successfully completed units 101559 Introduction to Criminology and 101631 Power Deviance & Society DO NOT enrol in Unit 102039 Crime, Deviance and Society. Due to some administrative delays in modifying the Handbook, the unit does not yet appear listed in the pool of units for the Criminology & Criminal Justice or Sociology majors/sub majors.
