United Kingdom Visiting Political Leadership In recent months, I have had opportunities to meet several UK visiting politicans, who were officially in Britain to promote the Kashmir cause or enhancing relationships with British-Kashmiri community but the truth is that these people are here on a wealth enhancement ventures and simply use other ploys to hide their true motive. Many of these people have large following mainly by the late arrival peoples in UK, who still live a utopia that if they knew these so called leaders it may promote their standing in their villages. Most of these supporters are outcast from the British society as they simply do not understand the British culture and their common of English is so poor that they either become takeaway workers or if lucky taxi drivers. The truth is that most are either illiterate or primary school educated with grand ideas that they can put world right, but in reality they simply do not understand the democratic processes or values. At the political gatherings speaker after speaker praise the visiting politicians with sweet honours and it does not stop there and they even go on to praise their fathers, grandfather, cousins and other members of their families. However I recognise that these small time politicians are very shroud and masters in getting their pictures and news printed in Urdu newspapers but the sad reality is that they pay newspapers to publish their news or print pictures. And who is missing out, the people they represent as they make fool of them that they are holding the world, when in reality they are not doing nothing and utter waste of time and space.
