United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East seeks to employ a qualified Programme Officer (re-advertised), Grade 16 HQ (A) (14-AR-AM-17) The Progarmme Officer will be responsible for monitoring trends and developments in utilization of services and making analysis of strategies using data from established plans. He / She will also be responsible for producing regular quarterly reports and a comprehensive semi-annual results review on implementation of programme objectives and achievements using the RBM Results Review Guidelines and best practice from Programme Cycle Management (PCM) handbook. The ideal candidate should have a university degree from an accredited educational institution in public policy, social science, operational research, statistics or related field. He/she should have at least six years experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, programme and project reporting, and results-based management using key output and performance indicators in logical frameworks Teacher Development and School Empowerment Advisor, Grade 16 HQ (A) (14-AR-AM-16) The Teacher Development and School Empowerment Advisor will be responsible for developing, monitoring and evaluating a system for in-service Teacher Education programmes as well as a competency based coaching and mentoring system in schools, that is aligned with UNRWAs core competencies for developing the capacity of Education staff. He / She will also be responsible for developing a system for quality assurance in TDSE as well as monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the Quality Assurance Framework among UNRWA schools in the Fields. The ideal candidate should have an advanced university degree, in teacher education or any related specialization from a recognized university. He/she should have a minimum of six years of teaching experience at various levels of education, including experience at an appropriate senior level and at least three years in in-service or pre-service teacher education Finance and Budget Assistant, LDC HQ (A) (14-AR-AM-15) The Finance and Budget Assistant will be responsible for reviewing and checking the accuracy of budget estimates, adjustments and reports. He / She will also be responsible for verifying, entering and retrieving budgetary data in the new finance system as well as training Departments/Divisions Administrative Officers on how to add BESs into budget module and provide them with necessary support. The ideal candidate should have two year diploma in accountancy, finance or related discipline .He/she should have at least 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping and related administrative matters.
