United States based companies doing business in Brazil are exploiting our people and we must become involved to stop the discrimination based on race! Afro-Brazilians are consuming 53% of all CocaCola products produced in that country yet there is not a single person in a senior position in the entire country. That is intolerable and we must get involved to insure fairness for our in Brazil! In fact Johnson & Johnson is the only US based company that have an Afro-Brazilian in senior management. I visited the Ford Motor Company Plant in Salvador, Brazil in September to determine the demographic of their workforce and received a chilly reception. I determined, however, that our people are employed in menial positions. All US automakers are doing business in Brazil, yet there is not a single Black owned dealership in the country! Keeping in mind that half of the country is Black! We must globalize our civil/human rights struggle! Dr. Martin Luther King fully understood that and was moving in that direction before he was killed!
