United Way of McLeod County Board President Dave Schwedler announced today that the organization delivered $79,125 in checks this week, to 37 partnering agency programs. Those checks represent the first half community investment grants for 2014 United Way funding. “We are so thankful that we were able to distribute $79,125 in allocations following our most recent Community Investment Review,” said Schwedler. “Those dollars are being used to fund worthy programs that are making a difference in so many lives in our area at this time.”
