#UnitingTheUmmah Keeping the spirit of Ramadan alive. In the month of Ramadan we fast from daylight to sunset to please God and to purify the mind and heart. While we make the choice to go without food and water, some of our brothers and sisters do not have the luxury. We went out and fed the homeless, We fellowship, we built bridges. With the intention to give spiritual and physical food, we linked up and we joined together as one... With the love for each other and our people, we gave our all on the streets of Detroit We united, we came together and we made a commitment to God and our people, to not set aside just some of our differences but to set aside all of them to feed our people every week. Life is so much brighter, when we focus on what matters the most Thats what uniting the ummah is all about, we are one family. Through the rain, and through the sun, we can change the world Every Christian, Every Muslim, whatever your religion as long as you are in the spirit of making the world a better place by the will God, we can make it happen. When the hype is all gone, and the numbers arnt the same. Keep going. This wasnt a just a ramadan thing, this is an everyday responsibility as believer, lets keep this spirit alive, Lets make everything beautiful.
