Unity in the world There are differences of opinion about the New World Order currently proposed by those with a socialist agenda. It is advanced under the guise of tolerance, security, financial stability, universal brotherhood, peace and prosperity. But history and results show their form of socialism does not happen in such a spiritual way. The methods of implementing their so-called humanitarian systems are reprehensible. Force has been applied against the people for the benefit of the ruling elites. And their rule has caused mass starvation, poverty, and police state terror. Their forms of socialism claim to stand for an interdependent and sustainable world society. They state that this can only be achieved by a surrender of sovereignty of all the nations to a one world government created by, for example, the United Nations. But in the world, we see the continuation of class divides, racial hatreds, and religious intolerance. The proposed World Government implies a dictatorship that will have complete authority over all nations by intervening in the economies and environment of any individual country in the world without consent. Such dictatorships are not representative of the people and are designed to erode their freedoms and liberties. Individual rights are to be surrendered for the benefit of the state. They promise to reconcile political, social, and religious differences, resulting in a more unified, interconnected and co-operating human race. There will even be councils with inspiring titles such as: World Wisdom Council World Committee on Global Consciousness and Spirituality United Nations University of Peace The following quotations outline the position on world governance presented in the Urantia Papers. A careful study will show that it is markedly different to the order proposed by the financial and political power brokers in today’s world.
