Unlike several people who complain about the media freedom in this Coup time, I really enjoy watching how the media has tried their best to produce news. The debate on neutrality of news report is so outdated. What interests me is how the news has been produced. The production of news is a complex process indeed. The production of news that interests me most is not the report on politics in the time of the coup, because it has been censored. The interesting one is how the news presents what does living normally or the normality of life mean. The media is working very hard not mentioning about politics and political commentaries. They are allowed to produce news about economy nevertheless. Ha ha I am hoping they can find good news from the economy because ordinary people are complaining still. Among many interviews that try to construct what the normality of life mean; i.e. interviews with informal sellers or big companies about the declines in sale number due to curfew, I hope the media may give a tiny space to interview several night shift Taxi drivers. Curfew cuts down half of their working time.
