Unmounted stamps, a.k.a clear stamps. I store mine in labeled - TopicsExpress

Unmounted stamps, a.k.a clear stamps. I store mine in labeled binders. Just switched most binder titles to match my SR titles. I found that laminating card stock with a laminating machine works wonders to store your stamps. Just 3 hole punch it and put the laminated card stock in your binder. For SU stamps I put the clear sticky index directly on the laminated card stock, then put the stamp right on top of the index. If the stamp is wording, then the stamp goes below the index so I can read the wording quickly. The clear boxes in the pict are the ones I cleared out this morning that are no longer taking up all that space! The small stash at the end are the only current SU stamps I have left. If the stamps are the photopolymer without a case, I stamp the card stock first before laminating to add the index, then just add the stamp to the card stock after laminating. It sticks just fine. This saves TONS of space. I keep to the TS/GOC rules and split up sets to put things where Ill find them (baby with baby, wedding with wedding, etc.) The stamps dont stick well to the acrylic block with the index stuck right to the back of the stamp anyhow, so I leave it off now. I love the way this works and everything is easy to find. If the set isnt retired, I add the index to the back of the box and the stamp simply gets put on top of the indexing, although on the inside of the box. When it is time to move it to the binder (when its retired), just move the index to the right binder, stick on your stamp and get rid of the extra case. This is a great way to store a TON of stamps. Please.....If you have questions or comments, could you be sure to just comment below on this post only? Please DO NOT hit like on every picture or comment below any of the pictures as I wont see the comments. Thanks friends! I also dont want to miss questions....so just below only. Thanks!!!!!
