Unpacked... about to pack up again... headed back to DC in AM. Stolen idea from Oprah - I created a "wow list" tonight as I was thinking about last week in Arizona. She describes "wow" as the word used when no other will do... ...2am running around with Soldiers in the middle of Fort Huachuca with really cool new technology and feeling that sense of pride that I actually love my job; laughter and fun times that can only be pulled off by one person - Joey Antonio Thorough; sister of a fallen soldier who I deployed with in Haiti - had no idea he paid the ultimate sacrifice - only those who get it will understand the impact of that realization; reunited with Stacey Megrew Mutters who many years ago taught me about what the foundation of real friendship means. I mess up a lot of things in my life but I will never mess up the ability to take in the adventure and appreciate the moments.
