I was laid off on Oct 10th and then I struggled hard to get a full time job. I joined an Indian consultancy and now they are giving me training since December 5th. But now I got a full time opportunity and company will sponsor my H1B. And joining date is from Feb Ist week Before starting my full time job I used 10 days of my OPT unemployment. So in all total days of unemployment are (10+56 = 66). My consultancy is willing to provide me voluntary work Letter till Jan end. So here are my questions: 1) I am CS grad and am I allowed to work voluntarily (unpaid) on OPT? 2) If yes then what all things must be in included in the Job Letter? 3) What all important points I must keep in mind while applying for H1B?
