The same half-dozen people making negative post after negative post yet not a single one of these supposedly highly-offended customers has even identified themselves--let alone take the time to call the track (814-465-3542) to try to resolve their complaints. In our Integrated Marketing class, our professor described it as internet muscles--its a situation where a few people attempt to bring a business into disrepute through repeated attacks on social media. Our professor advised us that the best way to combat the naysayers is to post positive comments from drivers and fans and also to continue to post stories about all of the capital improvements at the track, the activities for both drivers and fans, and so on. We also talked with our Track Promoter/Owner, Jeff Andrulonis, about this phenomenon and he (again) also advised us to remain polite and positive and not to engage in what he called petty conflicts with the naysayers. What was really interesting, though, is when he told us who you people are. One of you (the one we assumed was some kind of rookie driver) turns out to be a driver that he has permanently banned from the track due to unsportsmanlike conduct. Another one of you was removed from the track by local police shortly after he purchased the track in 2012 for public intoxication. As for the remaining couple of naysayers, one is from Edinboro, PA...another from Ohio...another from North Carolina...and just two from the local area. So dont lie to the people on Bills or try to drag Bill into a petty conflict. Youre not our customers. You have no plans to come out to the Bradford Speedway to enjoy the races and the fun promotions. Instead your goal is to try to destroy what has been created in just two seasons. Our record of improvements and success speaks for itself. The Bradford Speedway was rescued from the brink of closing by a talented group of people who just want to have fun and race every week. If you choose not to participate because youre jealous of our success, thats your fault and not ours. The 50,000 people who will attend races at the Bradford Speedway during the 2014 season are testament to the fact that youre wrong! Most importantly, heres a bright idea (see the light-bulb on this post). If you have a problem, call us (814-465-3542) and were also happy to do our best to resolve your concern.
