Unskilled labor is a bullshit ideal. All work requires skill. Especially workers that deal with asshole customers. Places like Menards, Mills Fleet Farm, Target and Walmart. All of those workers have to have customers service skills. Theyre expected to have extensive knowledge about the products they sell as well as their location int he stores. Would you really want to be working on a special project in your home and realize you need a specialized tool only to walk into a Mills Fleet Farm to find nothing but teens who know nothing? Its bullshit that they say those jobs are not meant to be careers and are only for teenagers. The cart guys and the bag boys are unskilled labor. Any Service provided to an employer beyond that requires skill and should be paid more and have a higher minimum wage.
