Until now, it never really dawned on me how much the negligence of others not vaccinating their child could affect me. Currently there is an outbreak of measles and mumps in the United States. My daughter is not old enough to get the MMR vaccine, so she is susceptible to getting it from the child of an anti-vacinating parent at church or daycare because they refuse to get their child vaccinated. Getting that could kill her.
