Until that day comes, and believe me it is coming, the undeniable truth of the matter is that the only people who have cast any votes that have any bearing on whether people live or die are people in states like Texas, Florida, and Louisiana that voted for those states’ Republican governors. They are their state’s own death panels. Sadly, the lives they have voted to end may very well have been their own. Which gives a whole new meaning to the phrase “voting against your own best interests,” doesn’t it? James Schlarmann
