Until we define all acts of war foundationally as acts that - TopicsExpress

Until we define all acts of war foundationally as acts that terrorize the people; whether they are in Paris, or in Yemen, in Iraq, in Pakistan, or Colorado Springs, and whether those people who are killed are Muslim, or Christian, European, African Americans, White Americans, Latinos or Palestinians until we see all life as equal and we condemn equally the murder of all human beings then we will live always in cycles of war. The wars that started long ago have created an unending cycle of violence that I believe we as humans who love humanity are meant to end. We must stand united as all people of consciousness and people who love all life to say we believe in the end of war and supremacism. Whether that is White supremacy or Islamic supremacy, or Jewish supremacy, all ideologies of supremacism are at their core anti-human. I believe in life #JeSuisHuman - Further to quote my beloved friend Muhammed Malik Understand this. I am NOT Charlie, which in France is associated with rabid islamophobia. Instead: #JeSuisHuman because I am a human being, a self-respecting one, who cannot associate myself with a hashtag that denies my humanity. I am human...and that means that Im opposed to the terrorists in Paris, the white supremacist terrorist who bombed the NAACP office, state violence that terrorizes poor countries through drone attacks and imperialism, militarized police that terrorizes communities across the U.S., and the culture of violence that feeds violence across the world. I can recognize how all of these forms of oppression are connected because I am human, not Charlie, and can recognize the suffering of people across the world because they, like me, are human.
