Untitled Martin had a section in the club near the dance floor. Tia and I made our way over to the section and Martin invited us to take seats on the couch. He introduced us to the few guys in the section and we smiled and waved. The music was loud and the dj kept playing hit after hit and the more our liquor settled in the more we danced in our seats. The few guys in Martins section were friendly but non more attractive or maybe non I noticed except for Mr. 62. He too had taken a seat on the couch. Nothing seperated us but space. I tried my best to pretend he wasnt there but there seemed to be something that drew me to him. To think it was probably mystery because unlike all the other guys in the section who introduced themselves, asked us to dance or offered to buy us drinks he sat there sipping out of a straw. I had the dumb idea that maybe he was a lame and didnt have a clue that he was so damn attractive, which made me more attracted to him. Enough time of being ignored passed and I had just the right amount of liquid courage to have the nerve to ask him to dance with me. Excuse me, I said. He looked at me with these low inviting eyes. Im Felicia, whats your name? As I stuck my hand out to prepare for a handshake. With a half smile he leaned in to make sure I heard him or maybe to make sure I smelled him either way mission accomplished and said Orion but everyone calls me O. I bet they do 62, I thought to myself. Well O, would you like to dance with me? He chuckled flashing those pearly whites I think that was the first thing about him i loved, his smile. And if he wasnt so dark Id say he even blushed. He was so cool he didnt even say yes he just put his drink down, stood up and extended his hand for me to grab. In the smallest section in club history, we danced or maybe I should say we two-stepped for what seemed like forever. Not saying a word just in the moment, like no one else was there just us and the dj. Our moment ended ever so abruptly when the lights slowly came on. Apparently wed missed last call, last dance, last whatever, because we were lost in each other. I knew Tia wouldnt be far but I had to go find her so I dismissed myself from O with a smile and a point in the opposite direction. He seemed to understand and gave me another smile and a nod. I switched away hoping to reunite with O and exchange numbers soon. The way the story goes, I didnt see him for two years after that night...
