Unusual visit... On Monday 1 December, Saint Nicholas surprised the English students of the conversation class in Diksmuide and their teacher with a visit. It was an interesting encounter and it was amazing how much the Holy Man knew about every student in the class. Everyone had to come forward and kneel in front of the class in order to listen to the Saint’s advice and to receive some candy from Black Peter. Highlight of the evening was when the teacher was put in the sack because the students claim that she gives too much homework L. A few Saint Nicholas songs were sung in English. Finally, the Saint and his sidekick accompanied the class to the bar where they treated the students and the bar lady to some sweets. Saint Nicholas, we promise to be good students ! Please come back next year to surprise us once more with a visit ! Sabina
