Up-Date.....To my Family and Friends. I have kept most of you posted on how my foot has been doing. I had surgery 5 weeks ago, went to see the Foot Dr. at the VA on Wed. he looked at it and had a Skin Cancer Dr./Plastic Surgeon to come see me, He looked at my last tissue lab sample and he thinks I may have some pre-cancer cells setting up,and may have some cancer cells in my foot now. He says that happens when you have an open wound for as long as I have had my wound. Between the 3 of us it looks as if the best option is to remove the big toe and the ball of the foot, about a 1/2 to 1 inch behind the ball of my foot. This should take care of any cancer cells,they will skin the big toe back and than will have skin to close it. I have surgery on the 17 th. of April to have this done, believe it or not it will be done as an out-patient surgery.....I was somewhat shocked by that. I ask that for those of you who pray to keep me in mind on the morning of April 17 th. I thank you for all the kind words and prayer from some of my previous posts......Luv You Guys....Cowboy..
