Up early this morning thinking about you Momma. Its been 5 long years but it seems like just yesterday that you was called home to glory. I think of you every day and night, as much as I try and stay strong it still hurts. People try to tell me how to grieve, how to move on, how its been 5 years and it will get better with time etc. but most really dont understand the pain and sorrow that comes with losing a Mother. Many wouldnt understand how when you really truly only had that one person in your life to believe in you, your the one the saw the good in me, you saw my potential and you prayed that I would grow up and be someone. Im not a sensitive man, you raised a strong young man, but I cant seem to keep the tears from flowing every time I just think of you and all the sacrifices you made for me. So I will do what I have to do to ones again get through this day. I try and stay prayed up, and I try and remember got got me. But its so easy to fall from grace these days. I get caught up sometimes but I have to remember the devil is a liar. Rest in Peace sweet lady. I love and miss you. This song is for everyone of my family and friends whos Mom has gone home to glory.
