Up for sale is a simple euro styled brownish red steatite pipe. This soft steatite was collected last summer in south-east PA on a tributary of the Susquehanna river. I have seen a handful of SE pipes made in a euro style in private hands and a few in public displays. This is not a copy of any single one, and I have not seen any in this color steatite. So it is NOT a copy of an artifact but inspired by artifacts. It comes with a viburnium stem, and there is a spot near the stem with a different mineral in the stone because the bees wax wont take the color. Asking $27 shipped. Thanks for looking!
