This is an all day event for both days. 4-H Halloween Carnival The 3rd annual 4-H Halloween Carnival will be held on October 31, 2013 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Litchville Community Center. Bring your trick-or-treaters and have fun with treats and tricks, carnival games, pumpkin decorating, cake walk, concessions and great prizes. Announcing!! The Christian Religious Events (C.R.E.) has secured transportation to the 2013 Christmas Concert at Concordia College, Moorhead, MN. Arrangements are being made to attend 2:00 pm performance of Before the Marvel of This Night on Saturday afternoon, December 7. A 31 passenger people mover will load from Litchvilles First Lutheran Church. Following the concert, we will stop for an evening meal before returning home. All details are not complete at this time. We will update you as they are secured. Registration includes transportation and concert ticket. Mail your check payable to CRE in the amount of $32.00 per person to: Georgine Pollert 10499 57th St SE, Litchville, ND 58461. Full payment must be made prior to November 5, 2013. If you must cancel, you need to find your own replacement. A registration and a wait list will be established. Come along as we prepare, watch and wait during the Advent season. Spread the word. Announcing: C. R. E. UPDATE - The evening meal after the Concordia Christmas Concert has been arranged at the Country Kitchen, Casselton, ND. There are three options from which to choose: Turkey dinner @ $7.99; Steak dinner @ $9.49 or a Pot Roast Dinner @ $8.99 plus beverages, tax and gratuity are extra. The restaurant is requesting a number of people eating each item before November 29th. Please call Georgine at 762-4821 with your dinner selection before that time. By doing this it will help them to make sure our gathering goes smoothly. A list of dinner selections will be kept by Georgine (in case you forget what you ordered). Barnes County Music Festival November 12 The Barnes County Music Festival will be held on Nov. 12, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Valley City State University.
